It took 3 hours by train to reach Machu Pichu from Cuzco. The Geezer took the Orient Express Hiram Bingham train. The ride was beautiful as the train snaked along the Urubamba River into the jungle. The Peruvian wait staff made the trip comfortable and our musician friends in the bar car did their part. Although you've seen Machu Pichu in pictures the Geezer can guarantee there are not many sites in the world that can compare to the dramatic beauty of "The Lost City of the Incas".
